Furoshiki Workshop
Come join us to learn about “Furoshiki”, a square piece of fabric that has been used in Japan for centuries for wrapping, protecting, transporting, organizing, decorating and so on.
The Sunday service is held in both English and Japanese, welcoming everyone to experience worship in a bilingual setting. Whether you're fluent in one language or both, the service provides a unique opportunity to connect with faith and community in a meaningful way. 11 am to 12 pm, followed by Furoshiki Workshop at 12:30 pm.
Furoshiki Instructor: Kazumi Kataoka has lived in Minnesota for more than 25 years. A self-claimed “furoshiki enthusiast”, sho wants to spread the word about this eco-friendly, versatile piece of Japanese culture. For more information, please visit https://bagstitute.com.
