Welcome to Kimono Club

Kimono Club is a community for anyone interested in learning about, wearing, and appreciating kimono in a respectful and enjoyable way. Whether you are completely new to kimono or already have experience, you are warmly welcome.

Our first gathering is designed as a relaxed and friendly introduction where members can meet one another, learn about the purpose of the club, and help shape its future direction.

Purpose of the First Gathering

• Get acquainted with fellow Kimono Club members

• Introduce the vision and goals of the Kimono Club

• Discuss general activities and simple guidelines

• Hear members’ interests, ideas, and hopes for future meetings

This meeting is conversational and welcoming — there is no need for prior knowledge or experience.

Kimono Dressing Checklist

During the first gathering, we will go through a kimono dressing checklist together.

This activity is meant to help everyone understand what is needed to wear kimono — not to test or judge anyone.

You may already have some items, many items, or none at all. All situations are completely okay.
