Bring fun and creativity to your lunchbox!
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to craft adorable and delicious bento characters using rice, vegetables, and other healthy ingredients.
Participants will create their own bento box following the instructor’s guidance. You can enjoy your bento right away or take it home.
What to bring: a hand towel and an apron.

Mother of two who has been creating character bento for years. She moved to Minnesota from Japan with her family in August 2025.
