Dear Cha-Ami Friends and Community,
We are excited to share a special event hosted by the Japan America Society of Minnesota (JASM)!
Rakugo by Katsura Sunshine is coming to Minnesota for an evening of traditional Japanese storytelling with a unique international twist. Katsura Sunshine is a Canadian-born rakugo performer who trained in Japan and performs rakugo in both Japanese and English.
Rakugo is a traditional Japanese performing art in which one storyteller, seated on stage, brings a variety of characters and stories to life.
Whether you are already familiar with rakugo or experiencing it for the first time, this promises to be a fun and memorable evening.
