Service Description

Learn basic of Sashiko and complete a simple project. Sashiko is a traditional handicraft that has existed in Japan since ancient times. It is said to have originated from hand-embroidered layers of cloth that were used to strengthen clothing and keep them warm, as well as to decorate them with people's wishes and prayers, such as good harvests, protection from evil spirits, and prosperous business. Material $35 -Fabric for 3 different patterns. -Threads enough to complete 3 patterns. -A pack of Sashiko needles. (4) -Sashiko Thimble. This is a free class however, please consider donating.
